The Underground on WGN produced by John Legend

It's a series and it starts in March. Jurnee Smollet...lawd I think that's that girls name....and Stabler from Law and Order are gonna star in it. It's about the underground railroad.

The previews look really good and I'm gonna watch it. It looks action packed and maybe the story will be told well. Jurnee Smollet's mama don't want her to leave/run. From what I gather it's because she's fair skinned and her mama believes she will have a "good" life on the plantation where they are.

It's got tattletales/snitches...the good slaves who think everything is cool like it is...and it's got the others that just want out.

This reminds me of that slave book we read back in the day, when the slaves went on vacation with their Massa's...

I'ma watch it.

I have to remember to catch this.
